Long Way Home is an acoustic guitar instrumental. This is an emotionally contemplative piece about traveling the road of life for many years, and looking back at where you started, and realizing, you’ve travelled a long way, and it’s a “long way home”.

I often sit by the fireside and reflect on life, my children and grandchildren, siblings, friends that have come and gone, and other relationships, and how much things have changed, and continue to change along the way. I leaned into these feelings as I composed the song.

The song is played in an alternate tuning of CGCGCE and is performed on a Taylor 914ce.
