In This Beautiful Light is an original classical guitar composition. The song was inspired by the long shadows of Autumn and Winter when the sun is low in the sky, at times making the day appear more like twilight. Furthermore, as a photographer, I am always trying to “find the light”. The composition is in D Major and features a traditional A B A structure. The B section features tremolo technique to create a sort of interlude. While a classical guitar composition, the song also fits into the peaceful guitar genre.

The song is performed on a Cordoba C12 cedar top classical guitar in drop D tuning.
